What appears on the radiograph

Overjet analyzes dental X-rays and adds visual overlays for findings such as suspected caries, calculus, periapical radiolucencies, and bone loss. The clinician still makes the diagnosis. In practice, the overlays give teams a consistent second read and clearer images for chairside treatment discussions. Measurements do not need to be drawn manually on every image.

Where it enters the workflow

During an exam, a dentist can show annotated images while explaining recommended care. Across a DSO, clinical leaders can compare diagnosis and treatment patterns between locations and find patients with unscheduled treatment. Dental insurers can apply image analysis to claims, checking radiographic evidence and routing uncertain cases to human reviewers.

Buying and deployment

Overjet has no self-serve plan or published monthly price. Contracts are quoted around organization size, selected products, locations, integrations, and implementation needs. That buying process favors established practices, DSOs, and payers over individuals. Deployment may require connections to imaging and practice-management systems, followed by staff training. Confirm compatibility early if locations use different software or imaging hardware.
