The one-paragraph version
We collect the minimum a review platform needs: your email, the reviews and comments you write, and privacy-respecting analytics. There are no third-party ad trackers on this site, your data is not for sale, and neither of those things will quietly change — the business runs on labeled sponsorships precisely so it never has to run on you.
What we collect
- Account basics — email address, display name and a password hash when you sign up
- Things you write — reviews, ratings, comments and messages you send us
- Usage signals — cookieless, aggregate analytics: pages viewed, referrers, country-level location
Notably absent: no advertising IDs, no cross-site tracking pixels, no purchase of data about you from anyone.
What we do with it
Run your account, publish your reviews under your display name, keep fraud and fake reviews out, and learn which pages actually help people.
Email from us is limited to three things: account security, replies you asked for, and the newsletter — only if you subscribed, always with one-click unsubscribe.
Who ever sees it
Only three parties, ever: the infrastructure we run on (hosting and email providers, each bound by a data-processing agreement), law enforcement when a valid legal demand leaves no choice, and whoever takes over NetReckon if the company is ever sold — inheriting this exact policy, and you hear about it before it happens.
Your rights
GDPR-grade rights, wherever you live:
- Access & portability — get a copy of everything we hold about you
- Correction — fix your own data in settings, or ask us to
- Deletion — remove your account and its data permanently
- Objection — tell us to stop any processing; we comply or explain the legal reason we can’t
Retention & security
Account data lives while your account does, plus up to 30 days in encrypted backups. Reviews from deleted accounts are anonymized rather than removed, so the record other readers relied on stays intact. Every connection runs over TLS, passwords are stored only as modern salted hashes, and internal access to personal data is granted sparingly and audit-logged.
