Agreeing to these terms
Using NetReckon — the site at netreckon.com, its subdomains and anything we serve through them — means you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, don’t use the site; that’s the whole deal. If you’re acting for a company, you’re confirming you have authority to bind it.
What NetReckon is
NetReckon is an independent software and AI-tool catalog: researched product profiles, moderated user reviews, ranked categories and mapped alternatives. It exists to inform decisions, not to make them for you.
Nothing here is professional, legal or procurement advice. Products change faster than any catalog — confirm pricing and capabilities with the vendor before spending real money.
Your account
An account is required to post reviews and comments. Keep your credentials to yourself; everything done under your account is yours to answer for. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, submit fake reviews, or attempt to manipulate ratings — for a vendor’s benefit or against one.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harvest, mass-download or programmatically extract the catalog without written permission
- Review products you haven’t genuinely used, or accept anything of value for a review
- Manipulate ratings, rankings or moderation by any means, including coordinated campaigns
- Post malware, spam, or content that infringes someone else’s rights
- Impersonate any person, vendor or member of the NetReckon team
Who owns what
Our published content — profiles, rankings, methodology and design — belongs to NetReckon. Brief quotations are welcome — credit us and link back to the page you quoted.
Your reviews remain yours. Posting one gives us permission — worldwide and without fees — to show it on the site under your display name, and to tidy formatting or obvious typos without changing your meaning.
Liability
NetReckon is provided “as is”. We work hard on accuracy, but we can’t promise that every fact remains correct after publication or that any tool will suit your situation. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the preceding twelve months — for free accounts, that’s zero.
Changes
When the service changes, these terms may too. For any significant change you’ll get an email plus an on-site banner a full two weeks ahead of it taking effect, and this page’s header date always tells you which version is in force. Using the site after that date means you accept the update.
